Once installed, the Broadcom ush item on the device manager will vanish and a new totally valid entry will appear called Control Vault.
This ControlVault driver will specifically correct the Broadcom ush trouble, no matter if you have a finger print reader or not. It's probably wise to do this because the driver pack contains a bunch of stuff that applies to newer or different machines that may create more compatibility headaches.
